The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in managing overall Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities within Data Center Construction. The candidate should possess expertise in developing and reviewing HSE documents, conducting safety meetings, inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Job Description:

  • Develop and meticulously review HSE documents including QHSE Plan, HIRADC, RAMS/MOP, QC Checklist, Scaffolding Installation design, and Lifting calculation.
  • Spearhead Construction, Toolbox Meetings, HSE Walkthroughs, and Lifting operations for major equipment.
  • Chair weekly and monthly HSE evaluation meetings, ensuring continual improvement throughout the construction phase.
  • Execute Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures with precision.
  • Conduct regular inspections of fall protection and electrical equipment, rectifying on-site hazards promptly through effective communication.
  • Exercise authority in sharing profound knowledge of safety aspects during toolbox meetings with each contractor.
  • Conduct internal safety training sessions for supervisors and workers involved in designated work areas.
  • Facilitate and lead safety inductions, particularly for new personnel, prior to the commencement of work.
  • Manage health protocols in strict accordance with governmental regulations within the project area.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering.
  • Over 2 years of hands-on experience in leading Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives within data center construction projects or other construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in CSA Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, and comprehensive understanding of HSE principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mandatory possession of General Safety (AK3 Umum) Certification; additional K3 Certification is considered an asset.
