About The Role

Imagine that you are a local merchant selling delicious banana fritters. You are keen to grow your business, so you create an ad on GoFood. Within days, customers all across Southeast Asia are enjoying your tasty snacks.

The Ads and Promo Platform team’s mission is to help our merchant partners grow their businesses by connecting them with millions of GoTo customers. We conduct analyses to help teams make better decisions, and build robust data pipelines to facilitate decision-making and dashboarding, all with the goal of creating a delightful ad experience. You’ll work closely with product managers, software engineers, and fellow data professionals, to drive success on end-to-end analytics initiatives. This is a high-impact role where your work will have a direct influence on company revenue.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop scalable data models that support robust analytical requirements
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in BigQuery for a variety of event data sources
  • Design experiments and perform statistical hypothesis testing to support business decisions
  • Evangelize a data-driven culture by standardizing metrics and educating stakeholders
  • Be a thought partner to product teams by analyzing data and providing recommendations
  • Uphold high standards of data quality and help establish best practices in data governance

What You Will Need

  • BSc in a quantitative field with basic statistics competency
  • At least 2 years of experience as a data analyst or analytics engineer
  • Demonstrable expertise in Python and SQL
  • Practical experience managing data pipelines and tables
  • Good communication and critical thinking skills
